General Questions

What makes Hidden Springs Candle Co. candles special?

Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using premium soy wax blends, high-quality fragrance oils, and thoughtfully selected vessels with natural cotton and wood wicks. Each collection is designed to create a cozy, elevated home fragrance experience.

Where are your products made?

All Hidden Springs Candle Co. products are handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest with care and attention to detail.

Are your candles made with soy wax?

Yes! Our candles are crafted with a premium soy wax blend for a clean, long-lasting burn. Our candles burn 10 - 15% longer than pure soy wax.

Are your fragrances safe?

We use high-quality fragrance and Essential oils that are phthalate-free, clean fragrances carefully selected for home fragrance use. Sourced only in the United States.

Candle Care

How do I properly burn my candle?

For the best experience:

Wooden Wicks-

Trim your wick to 1/8" before each burn

Allow the wax to melt evenly across the top during the first burn to set the memory and reduce tunneling.

Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time

Keep candles away from drafts, pets, and children

How do I care for a wood wick candle?

Wood wicks perform best when kept short. Before relighting:

Gently remove any charred wood

Burn away from fans or strong airflow

NOTE: Low Flame? No worries! Natural wood wicks - you can't fight with nature. If your wick just won't stay lit?, Please contact us and we will send you a new with that can be easily replaced.

Cotton Wicks-

Trim your wick to 1/4" before each burn

Allow the wax to melt evenly across the top during the first burn

Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time

Keep candles away from drafts, pets, and children

Why is my candle tunneling?

Tunneling happens when the wax doesn’t fully melt across the surface during the first few burns. To help fix tunneling:

- Allow longer burn sessions
- Use a candle warmer if desired
- Carefully wrap foil around the top edge to help retain heat temporarily

Can I use a candle warmer?

Yes! Candle warmers are a wonderful way to enjoy your candle fragrance without an open flame and can help extend the life of your candle.

Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Most orders are processed within 1 business day unless otherwise noted during sales, launches, or preorder events.

Do you offer local pickup?

YES. It will appear as an option during checkout for a small $5 fee. See checkout for details.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes! We currently ship throughout the Continental United States.

Will I receive tracking information?

Absolutely. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking email with your shipment details.

Returns & Exchanges

Do you accept returns?

Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns on used candles or home fragrance products. However, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Please email us with:

- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged item and packaging
- A brief description of the issue

Do you offer seasonal collections?

Yes! We release limited seasonal fragrances throughout the year alongside our core favorites.

Will sold out scents return?

Some fragrances may return seasonally, while others are limited edition and may not restock once sold out.

Do you offer custom or wholesale orders?

Home Fragrance Products

Are your room & linen sprays fabric safe?

Our room and linen sprays are water-based. They are designed for most fabrics, linens, and spaces. Always spot test delicate fabrics first and avoid spraying directly onto finished wood or sensitive surfaces.

How long do diffuser scents last?

Our Diffuser longevity varies based on room size and airflow and regular flipping of the reeds. We recommend every 2 weeks. Our home diffuser oil will last up to one year.
